City Overview

Turin is a city and an important business and cultural centre in northern Italy, capital of the Piedmont region and was the first capital city of Italy. 
The city has a rich culture and history, and is known for its numerous art galleries, restaurants, churches, palaces, opera houses, piazzas, parks, gardens, theatres, libraries, museums and other venues. Turin is well known for its Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neo-classical, and Art Nouveau architecture. Industrial town located in the north of Italy, Turin accomodates many shopping centres in its periphery, including one of the best shopping centres in Italy, “Le Gru”, near the town of Grugliasco, and the recent A12 shopping centre adjacent to the Stadio delle Alpi football stadium. Although witnessing relatively moderate turnovers, the city centre shopping streets (Via Roma, Via Lagrange, Via Garibaldi) stilll have very good success among the inhabitants. In the last 12 months opened two important scheme in Turin which are: I Viali  (20,000 sq m) and Mondo Juve (27,117 sq m) which has already the project of a retail park to complete the whole project. Interesting is that new format decided Turin are a destination such as: Bounce, which is a leisure brand; Gru City, which is a kids entertainment play ground.
