Paris Ile-de-FranceFrance

city rank #5

City Overview

Paris is a major tourist destination that attracts visitors with its beauty, its monuments, its food and its romance. It is a world-class showcase for luxury and international brands. All brands consider Paris a vital location, even if the rents are not the most attractive compared with other leading cities. A Parisian address is more prestigious than an address in any other European city and arguably more than in any city in the world. The demand for the same locations is very high. The most highly sought after areas include Champs Elysees, boulevard Haussmann, Opera, rue de Rennes, rue St Honore, The Marais, boulevard St Germain, rue de Passy and important shopping centres, including Forum des Halles recently renovated and extended, Beaugrenelle, Les 4 Temps, Parly 2, Velizy 2, Rosny 2, O'Parinor and Val d Europe and the recently opened Qwartz, to mention a few highly successfull centres. Key money plays an important role in the Parisian high street retail market with prime units of 200 sq m commanding key money upwards of EUR3 million, excluding the Champs Elysees which is exceptionally high.
